Redmi Note 9T 5G & Poco M3 gets certified in Malaysia – to launch soon


It appears that the Redmi Note 9 series is going to be a very “long” series just like the Redmi K30 series. As of now, we don’t know how many models will be in this series. However, there has been mention of Redmi Note 9 4G, Note 9 5G, and Note 9 Pro. Also, we have heard of Redmi Note 9T and most recently Redmi Note 9S and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. According to information on MySmartPrice, the Poco M3 and Redmi Note 9T 5G is currently on the SIRIM certification website. This suggests that these smartphones will be available in the Asian market soon.

Redmi Note 9T 5G & Poco M3

As can be seen from the picture above, POCO M3 (model M2020J19CG) and Redmi Note 9T (model M2007J22G) have been certified in Malaysia. According to the certification information, Redmi Note 9T will support NFC as well as 5G networks. However, the Poco M3 will only support 4G networks.

According to previous information, the Poco M3 comes with an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. This device uses a 6.53-inch 1080P+ resolution LCD waterdrop screen. In the camera department, this device comes with a 48MP main camera in a triple rear camera setup. It also uses a huge built-in 6000 mAh large battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Although there is not much information on the Redmi Note 9T, it is expected to arrive with the Redmi Note 9 series in China. 

Redmi Note 9 series official launch date set for November 26

Today, Redmi officially announced the launch date for the Redmi Note 9 series. According to the company, this series will arrive on November 26th by 8 pm (Chinese Time). The official also released a rendering of the new smartphones. The picture shows that the rear camera module adopts a circular design (center) with four cameras inside and a flashlight next to it.

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max

The official statement says that the Redmi Note 9 series will include three models. According to speculations, the models for the November 26 launch will be Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9 5G, and Redmi Note 9 5G Pro. Most of these models already have official certifications (TENAA).

Redmi Note 9 5G

The Redmi Note 9 standard version uses a 6.53-inch 2400 x 1080 resolution single punch-hole screen in the upper left corner. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera and a rear 48MP “Oreo” matrix triple camera. This phone will use a Dimensity 800U processor and a built-in 5000 mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charge. The body size is 161.96 × 77.25 × 9.20mm and weighs 200g.

Redmi Note 9 4G

Redmi Note 9 Pro uses a 6.67-inch center single punch-hole screen with a resolution of 2400×1080. The screen refresh rate is 120Hz while the touch sampling rate is 240Hz. This device also supports 30-120Hz multi-speed transmission. Under the hood, we will have a Snapdragon 750G processor and a built-in 4820 mAh battery that support 33W fast charge. On the front, there will be a 16MP shooter while the rear has a 108MP HM2 sensor. The body dimension is 165.4 × 76.8 × 9.0mm and it weighs 214.5g.
