In recent times, there have been numerous reports regarding the upcoming Redmi Note 9 series. We already have information on the display design, battery, processor, and camera. Subsequently, this smartphone appeared on TENAA, and a top Xiaomi executive hints on the camera. Now, we have some more information. Firstly, the Redmi Note 9 series will have a Note 9 Pro Max version. Secondly, the Redmi Note 9 series will be officially unveiled on November 26th. The launch date information is official.
The image above shows the reset phone function page in Xiaomi’s mobile phone settings. In addition to the Redmi Note 9, there are three more models including Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9S, and Pro Max.
From what we already know, the Redmi Note 9 series will all adopt LCD full-screen design punch-holes. The maximum screen refresh rate will be 120Hz with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. While the standard version will use a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor, the high-end version will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. Furthermore, we expect a 108MP sensor on at least one of the models. The sensor size is 1/1.52 inches, and the unit pixel area is 0.7μm. It supports 9 pixels in one, which is equivalent to 2.1μm.

Redmi Note 9 series official launch date set for November 26
Today, Redmi officially announced the launch date for the Redmi Note 9 series. According to the company, this series will arrive on November 26th by 8 pm (Chinese Time). The official also released a rendering of the new smartphones. The picture shows that the rear camera module adopts a circular design (center) with four cameras inside and a flashlight next to it.
Unfortunately, there is no mention of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max as stated above. The official statement says that the Redmi Note 9 series will include three models. According to speculations, the models for the November 26 launch will be Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9 5G, and Redmi Note 9 5G Pro. Most of these models already have official certifications (TENAA).
The Redmi Note 9 standard version uses a 6.53-inch 2400 x 1080 resolution single punch-hole screen in the upper left corner. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera and a rear 48MP “Oreo” matrix triple camera. This phone will use a Dimensity 800U processor and a built-in 5000 mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charge. The body size is 161.96 × 77.25 × 9.20mm and weighs 200g.
Redmi Note 9 Pro uses a 6.67-inch center single punch-hole screen with a resolution of 2400×1080. The screen refresh rate is 120Hz while the touch sampling rate is 240Hz. This device also supports 30-120Hz multi-speed transmission. Under the hood, we will have a Snapdragon 750G processor and a built-in 4820 mAh battery that support 33W fast charge. On the front, there will be a 16MP shooter while the rear has a 108MP HM2 sensor. The body dimension is 165.4 × 76.8 × 9.0mm and it weighs 214.5g.
