Google is going to expand its mid-range smartphone segment with Pixel 5a. As the smartphone’s renders are leaked online via a popular leakster @onleaks. Earlier, there were leaks that show the older design similar to Pixel 4 that was launched in 2019. But according to the new leaks, Pixel 5a looks similar to the last year’s Pixel 4a 5G.
According to renders, Google Pixel 5a will have a unibody design made of plastic. The smartphone measures 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm and if we add the rear camera bump in the thickness, then the phone becomes 9.4mm thick. Pixel 5a will have volume rockers and power buttons on the right side of the smartphone. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the backside of the smartphone, on the top-left corner of the phone there is a rear camera setup with a dual camera and a LED flash. On the front side, there is a punch-hole camera for selfies and video chats.

Google Pixel 5a is expected to have the 6.2-inch OLED display that comes in Pixel 4a 5G last year. The leaked photos also show us that Pixel 5a will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers at the bottom of the smartphone. However, other specifications of the smartphone are still unknown. Pixel 4a 5G Specifications(Launched in 2020)
It features a 6.2-inch OLED panel with 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Pixel 4a 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G that is developed on a 7nm process. The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage.
In-camera section, Pixel 4a 5G comes with a dual camera with a 12.2MP wide-angle primary camera, and a 16MP ultrawide camera. There is an 8MP wide-angle camera on the front side for selfies and video chats. The smartphone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1. Pixel 4a 5G has a 3885 mAH battery with 18W fast charging support. The smartphone comes running on Android 11 out of the box. Now the Android 12 first developer preview is also available for Pixel 4a 5G.
