Here’s when we might see the launch of RTX 3070Ti, RTX3080Ti

Nvidia RTX 3080

Nvidia is currently working on its next generation of GPUs namely GeForce RTX 3070Ti and RTX 3080Ti. We’ve been hearing about these GPUs for quite some time now, especially with the former. Earlier, it was rumored that RTX 3070Ti will not see the light of the day but soon after, a new leak revealed otherwise. Well, we’re now looking at another development in the story. We now have the expected release timeline for both graphics cards.

Nvidia RTX 3070Ti, RTX 3080Ti to launch in the coming months!

RTX3070Ti, RTX3080Ti launch

According to a recent report by VideoCardz, Nvidia RTX 3070Ti GPU might see its release somewhere in the month of May. The card will feature an 8GB of GDDR6x memory paired with GA104-400 GPU, assembled on top of the PG141 SKU 10 board. The RTXX3080Ti, on the other hand, will see its official release quite sooner and in fact, somewhere in the next month. Unlike 3070Ti, this one will feature a larger 12GB GDDR6X memory with GA102-225 GPU, placed on top of the PG132 SKU 18 board.

Gizchina News of the week

It is worth mentioning that various previous reports point towards 16GB VRAM for the 3070Ti graphics card. If that’s the case, then it would be a double increment compared to the existing RTX 3070. We’re still unsure about this very aspect of both the graphics card.

Here are some technical details for the RTX 3070 Ti:

  • CUDA cores: 6144
  • TMU/ROP: 192/104
  • Tensor/RT cores: 192/48
  • TGP: 250W

Apart from the above, we don’t have any other information surrounding the card. Coming to the RTX 3080Ti, here’s what we might see.

  • CUDA cores: 10240
  • TMU/ROP: 320/112
  • Tensor/RT cores: 320/76
  • TGP: 300W

Further details such as base frequency, boost frequency, bid width, and more remain unknown. Nvidia’s RTX 3000 series is already performing quite well in various markets and two new GPUs would add fuel to the already burning fire.

Here’s how costly both these GPUs could be!

Considering some previous reports, GeForce RTX 3070Ti should arrive with a price tag of $599. The RTX 3080Ti, on the other hand, might reach as high as $900. With that said, all these details should be taken with a pinch of salt. If the company is really planning to bring the lineup in the coming months, then we should expect to see more information surfacing on the web. Whenever that’ll happen, we’ll make sure to keep our readers updated.
