Clubhouse is presently a sensation for social media operators. This app has over 8 million downloads globally. Well, its downloads may be reduced soon as many larger and more popular apps are copying its operation. The likes of Twitter, Mi Talk (Xiaomi), TikTok, and Instagram, Telegram, and others already have or are working on their version of Clubhouse. Back in January, Clubhouse announced that it will commence work on Clubhouse for Android. However, it did not give any time frame for the release of the app.
Nevertheless, the company has always stated the importance of having an Android version. Finally, Clubhouse has now given a vague time frame for the arrival of Clubhouse for Android. Recently, Clubhouse co-founder, Paul Davison, stated that it is working really hard on its Android version. According to him, it will take a âcouple of monthsâ for the app to arrive. It appears that this app will be available sometime in the late spring or summer of 2021.

According to Davison, Clubhouse for Android has to overcome a couple of barriers. He believes that the app needs to defeat language barrier with some sort of translation service. The company wants to offer the best content for Android users.

Clubhouse for Android will have many changes
The company will make significant changes in the Android version. It will work on the activity feed, push notifications, and personalization features. With these features, Clubhouse for Android will probably succeed. The Android market is a much larger user base.
Davison claims that there are âso many incredible creators not yet on Clubhouse, who have an audience elsewhereâ. This is why he wants ClubhouseAndroid App to open up everyone. His words
âItâs going to be really important that we just open up to everyone,â … âAndroidâs going to be really important. Localization is obviously going to be very important.â
In response to many Clubhouse clones, Davison reveals that there is no PC app for Clubhouse. âIt is certainly not the real Clubhouse. Same thing with PC. Thereâs no PC app for Clubhouse,â he said, adding that a desktop version of Clubhouse is not a high priority for the company.
The company will create more tools which will help creators grow their own audiences for their shows. It will also offer tools for managing memberships and tracking metrics around listeners. As of now, Clubhouse dod not respond to request for more comment on Clubhouse for Android.
