One UI 3.0

Gizchina News of the week

Originally, the One UI 3 update for the Galaxy A21s smartphone was scheduled for the month of May 2021. With Samsung being on the roll for the past couple of months, the update is rolling out two months early. This is not the first time we’re hearing about something like this. In fact, Samsung did it with Galaxy Tab S6, Tab S6 Lite, and A50s. As of now, the update is currently rolling out in South Korea only but it should make its way to other regions as well.

Considering it’s a major update, we recommend using stable WiFi connectivity to download it.  There’s no information as to which security patch the update is bundled with. If you have some clue, then please make sure to let us know using the comments down below. If you reside in South Korea and own the device, then you might have already received the update notification.

Alternatively, you can always check for updates manually by heading over to Settings>>Software Update>>Download and Install. If you still don’t receive the update, then there’s a chance that Samsung might be rolling it out in batches. Generally, this is done to make sure the release doesn’t cause any unforeseen issues.
