A couple of days ago, OnePlus posted a short video on its Twitter page where, using two smartphones, it created the illusion of a foldable device. It promised to reveal more details on August 11 at the same time as the launch of the presentation of the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
A number of publications have suggested that OnePlus wants to show or talk about its foldable mobile phone. But it turned out that what the company had in mind had nothing to do with the folding device. In this way, it just wanted to inform about a price cut of the OnePlus 9 in the United States. And the illusion of a foldable smartphone was only created in order to convey to users the idea that they can get two flagships from OnePlus for the price of one foldable Galaxy Fold. In any case, the goal of attracting the attention of a wide audience by the company’s advertisers has been achieved.
The price has been reduced to $ 375 only for US residents and those who purchase the new product from the mobile operator T-Mobile. The pricing itself looks very nice and is a great deal for a smartphone with Snapdragon 888, 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and triple rear camera 50MP + 48MP + 2MP.

OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone appeared in a white version
OnePlus has shown a special version of the OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone. The device is made in white. It is not yet clear when and at what price the new product may enter the commercial market.
The OnePlus 9 Pro device, we recall, debuted in March this year. So far, three color options have been available: Morning Mist, Stellar Black and Forest Green. Moreover, the body has different shades. For example, the green version may appear gray or blue depending on the lighting and angle of view.
In the production of a smartphone in white, the technology of a two-layer coating is used. Fingerprints are not left on the case, so the device always looks neat.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor is used. It combines eight computing cores with a frequency of up to 2.84 GHz, an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator; and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem with a data transfer rate of up to 7.5 Gbps.
The screen measures 6.7 inches diagonally. A high-quality panel with a resolution of 3216 × 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz is used. A 16-megapixel camera is installed in the front. The main quad camera contains blocks of 50, 48, 8 and 2 megapixels.
Responsible for power is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh with support for fast charging with a capacity of 65 W.
