The four rounds of US sanctions affect Huawei’s consumer sector more than other areas. Guo Ping said that the United States has created many difficulties for Huawei, but these difficulties are solvable.
“The mobile phone business has caused us the greatest difficulty at the current stage. We all know that the chip of a mobile phone requires advanced technology, small size, and low power consumption” said Mr. Ping.
According to him, designing the chip is not Huawei’s problem. However, if Huawei designs the chip, who will produce the chip for them? No one. This is where the major issue lies. According to him, Huawei’s partners in the industry chain are still tackling key issues.
