Honor is creating its own sub-brand in the footsteps of Huawei

Honor

Separate subdivisions of famous brands are history as old as the world. Few people are surprised when the parent company introduces its sub-brand and says that the child will surpass the parent. In the case of Honor, initially, no one hid that the devices of this brand were tailored with the approval and support of Huawei.

True, then the “parent” seemed to be watching the new brand from afar and tried in every possible way to disown the fact that it was his “child”. And then it had to sell it, so as not to destroy the “blood” and to allow it to get out of the US sanctions. Honor has continued its journey in the market and is already ready to give a start in life to a sub-brand itself.

The company intends to allocate one or more brands for different segments of devices, said the CEO of Honor the other day. The name for the first “sub-brand” is already ready and registered – “Xingyao Terminal Co. Ltd.” But apart from the name itself, there is no more accurate information. There are only rumors that the sub-brand will be responsible for the production of wearable devices. It remains to wait for an explanation from Honor what the newly created sub-brand will do and what product lines it will be responsible for.

Huawei will regain its leadership status

For a couple of years now, we have been watching the development of the crisis of Huawei. The company was successful and good, but exactly until the moment when US officials took on it, aiming to destroy it. Huawei is a sacred sacrifice in America’s journey of 5G technological supremacy. As a result, we are witnessing a steady decline in sales of the company’s smartphones due to the impossibility of stocking up on the required number of components for their release.

Huawei itself believes that all difficulties can be overcome, and it is not a problem for it to survive. This was stated by the chairman of the company Guo Ping. He made no secret of the fact that the United States arranged a lot of problems for the company, but there are no unsolvable ones. The main task is to solve the problem with the lack of chips. The company is still capable of making proprietary processors; but it needs to be put into production. So Huawei is busy now looking for partners who will do this.

The top manager confirmed that the company will not abandon the smartphone business. Moreover, Huawei will rise to the top of this market. The company will not only be able to design and manufacture, but also become a leader.

Now the priorities of the company are: smart homes, cars and smartphones. HarmonyOS proprietary operating system will allow Huawei to build an ecosystem and make homes smart. The company, of course, is not going to produce the cars themselves; but it will supply its smart systems to them.
