The launch, if true falls in line with the annual iPhone event. There had been speculations earlier that the launch date was September 17. Now, Jon Prosser affirms that September 14 is the definitive date for iPhone fans. Of course, he couldn’t specify his sources as Apple is pursuing insiders. The tipster further states, that press invites will be issued one week before the event. So we may see a confirmation coming after the next week. The devices will go on sale on September 24. However, we don’t know if all units will be available at the same time. As per rumors, Apple is preparing four iPhone models just like the last year. There will be the standard iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max. However, the tipster clearly states that all units will be immediately available for pre-order.
Meanwhile, a leaked photo shows the packaging of the iPhone 13, further dispelling any more rumors about the name of Apple’s next flagship. According to rumors, the iPhone 13 will bring some significant changes. The design will remain close to the one established with the iPhone 12 series. However, the newer models may come with smaller notches and camera improvements. Moreover, some of the models will have a 120 Hz refresh rate. Rumors also suggest the return of Touch ID using under-display fingerprint technology. However, this is not clear.
