iPhone 13 / iPhone 13 Pro (US Version) is the most “special” globally

iPhone 13 Pro Max

The iPhone 13 series is now official. Frankly speaking, from the perspective of the upgrade range, this generation is just like a high-model of the iPhone 12. However, it is commendable that the increase in battery capacity has improved the battery life of the whole series. However, there is still a drop in price for the Chinese version which is a good thing. The US version of the iPhone 13 starts at the same $699, this is a good deal. In addition, the US version is still the most special iPhone globally.

iPhone 13 series

There are two major points that make the US version special. First, the US version of the iPhone 13 supports the mmWave (millimeter-wave) frequency band. Only the US version supports this band and it corresponds to n258 (26GHz), n260 (39GHz), and n261 (28GHz). Its support for millimeter waves means that its 5G peak rates are higher.

Secondly, the US version of the iPhone 13/13 Pro also supports dual eSIMs. Of course, the body still retains a nano-SIM slot. However, it is not clear whether a physical card can be inserted after dual eSIM is enabled to achieve three cards and three standbys.

In addition, due to the addition of 5G millimeter-wave support, the US version of this flagship is well distinguishable in appearance, with a long strip “patch” under the power button on the right side of the fuselage.
