Realme has just introduced the latest member of its flagship GT series in the form of Realme GT Neo2. However, the month will not be closed with the release of this gorgeous flagship. Until the end of the month, the brand is expected to unleash the new Realme Narzo 50 series. Two devices will come first, and they will focus on the low-end segment. These two smartphones will carry Realme Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i moniker. The former is the Narzo A we have been used to, the second is a new super-budget option in the series. These devices have been leaking a lot in recent weeks to the point that we know almost everything we can expect. Today, the Realme Narzo 50A had its chipset confirmed in a popular benchmarking website.
Realme Narzo 50A spotted at Geekbench benchmark
The Realme Narzo 50A (RMX3430) is a low-end smartphone and the latest report confirms this fact. The device has passed through the Geekbench benchmark with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. This last year’s chipset comes with two ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at up to 2.0 GHz plus six ARM Cortex-A75 cores at up to 1.8 GHz. The graphical tasks are ensured by a modest Mali-G52 GPU with two cores. The device has scored 387 points in the single-core tests and 1,364 in the multi-core department. That result is pretty much in line with other devices featuring this chipset. It’s a decent platform that can offer great usage of modest apps, social media apps and you can even play trending games like PUBG with medium graphics.
Besides the chipset, Geekbench also confirms Android 11 OS and we can expect Realme UI 2.0 to be running on top. The device comes with 4 GB of RAM, but we can expect another variant with 3 GB of RAM. After all, the focus here is the budget segment. Moving on, this variant with 4 GB RAM will likely come with 64 GB of Internal Storage. It can even go up to 128 GB, but that would be a major surprise. Anyway, the device should get a micro SD card slot in case you need more storage.
Narzo 50A alleged specifications
The Realme Narzo 50A already got approval from multiple certifications. The list includes EEC, NBTC, and BIS certification. It is touted to come with a 6.5-inch display with an HD+ resolution. According to leaked renders, the device has a huge square-shaped camera island with three cameras. There is a waterdrop notch housing an 8 MP selfie snapper. Interestingly, a recent teaser suggests the Narzo 50i will have a punch-hole display, and it will be a center-aligned one, a first for Realme.
Other Narzo 50A specs include 4G with VoLTE, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. Moreover, the device will come with a 6,000 mAh battery with at least 18W charging.
