First, ColorOS 12 was presented in the Chinese market, and today the global premiere of a new version of the proprietary user interface from Oppo took place. It is built on the basis of Android 12 and the owners of Oppo Find X3 Pro in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia will be the first to receive its beta version. The company says the new firmware is smoother, cleaner and more stable.
ColorOS 12 is built on four pillars: inclusive design, smart efficiency, privacy protection, and fluidity. The shell has received an updated design, animated Emojis, a redesigned Always on Display function, support for wallpaper-based themes, a PC Connect function for broadcasting the smartphone screen to a PC and a new panel for controlling energy consumption.

Oppo will update more than 50 smartphone models to ColorOS 12 by the end of 2022. As already mentioned, the first update was received by the Oppo Find X3 Pro 5G. Users of this device can download the update from today. Everyone else will have to wait and the company will distribute ColorOS in four phases:

In ColorOS 12, the developers have paid a lot of attention to colors and shadows in order to emphasize more important information. Introduced the Quantum Animation Engine 3.0 to improve the smoothness and feel of system animations.
