Realme decided to go an alternative this year with its segment of flagships. Rather than bringing the Realme X70, X80 and so, the company decided to create a new lineup of flagship smartphones. This gave birth to the Realme GT 5G which was the first flagship, and also the first device in a lineup that continues growing every month. The Realme GT 5G was the original device, but the company already launched a Realme GT Neo, GT Master Edition, Master Explorer Edition, GT Neo2, and GT Neo2T. Now, a fresh report indicates that the Realme GT series will not stop growing in 2021 and a new device dubbed Realme GT 2 Pro is walking to a release.
The tipster Mukul Sharma came across a Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone with model number RMX3301 on the IMEI database. The listing data shows that it’s a fresh smartphone and was posted only today. Apart from the moniker, there isn’t anything else to it. So the rest is open to speculation.
So yes, as I tipped a little while ago, Realme GT 2 Pro is indeed coming up soon. The moniker has now been confirmed via IMEI listing.
Feel free to retweet.

Interestingly, the Realme RMX3301 model number seems similar to the Realme GT Neo’s model number of RMX 3031. The Realme GT Neo came with Dimensity 1200 SoC from MediaTek. However, with the GT Neo2, the company decided to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Also, the Realme GT 2 Pro moniker suggests that it’s the successor of the original Realme GT with Snapdragon 888. More than that, it’s the Pro variant. If there is a Pro variant, then we may also see a Realme GT 2 in the future.
Realme GT 2 Pro – an all-new flagship smartphone
It may be a surprise for some to see Realme certifying the successor for the GT when we’re yet to cross 2021 into 2022. However, the company has shown with the Realme GT Neo2 that it’s not necessary to wait an entire year for bringing updates for its current lineup. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a big surprise to see the Realme GT 2 and the GT 2 Pro debuting before the end of the year. It’s very common for Realme sister companies (Vivo, iQOO) to launch more than a single flagship smartphone every year.
We expect the Realme GT 2 Pro to be a flagship smartphone. As a result, it may come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or beyond, up to 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of Storage. Moreover, the device is likely bringing again a large AMOLED display with up to a 120 Hz refresh rate. We expect a battery bigger than a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W charging or even something better than that. The device could also hit the market with Reame UI 3.0 being the first Realme smartphone to hit the market with Android 12 straight out of the box.
We expect more details to emerge soon.
