The Redmi 10 Prime 2022 smartphone has popped up online in the form of a new leak, hinting at an imminent India launch. It is no secret that Xiaomi is prepping to unveil the Redmi 10 2022 smartphone. The device has passed through multiple certifications websites such as SDPPI, EEC, and TKDN. The word on the street is that it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 4G, which went official in China not too long ago.
If rumors making the rounds online prove to be true, the Redmi 10 2022 will be heading to Indian in the next few months, according to a report from 91mobiles. Back in August, the Indian variant of the Redmi 10 Prime was spotted on the IMEI database, suggesting the phone will launch in the country soon. Noted leaker Mukul Sharma indicated that the company will also unveil the vanilla Redmi 10 model. Now, fresh information coming from another reputed tipster suggests that the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 is also set to launch in the country.
Redmi 10 Prime 2022 India Launch Timeline
Noted Xiaomi tipster Kacper Skrzypek took to his Twitter account on Wednesday to share key details about the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 smartphone’s imminent India launch. Furthermore, the leaker suggests that Redmi could launch the Redmi 10 2022 variant as the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 in the Indian market. For the uninitiated, Realme had brought the Redmi 10 with the Redmi 10 Prime moniker into the Indian market.

The only notable difference between these models is the thickness and battery capacity. The Redmi 10 Prime draws its juices from a 6,000mAh battery. However, a 5,000mAh battery powers up the Redmi 10 Global version. Xiaomi is likely to adopt the same strategy for the Redmi 10 2022 and the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 variants.
