Samsung Galaxy S8 series surprisingly receives a new system update

Samsung Galaxy S8 series is no longer on the list of officially supported smartphones for software updates. However, in a surprise move by the South Koran company, this device suddenly received a system update today. According to reports, Samsung pushed a system update for the Galaxy S8 series devices in France. The update includes security patches for November 2021. It also includes repairs of system vulnerabilities related to privacy and security. This new update firmware version is G95xFXXUCDUK1. The Samsung Galaxy S8 series was released on March 29, 2017. The series includes the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus flagships.

In terms of core configuration, the Samsung Galaxy S8 uses a 5.8-inch full screen while the Galaxy S8+ uses a 6.2-inch full screen. Both smartphones use the Snapdragon 835 processors with batteries not exceeding 3500 mAh. Both are pre-installed with the Android 7 operating system, and Samsung has subsequently pushed the Android 9 operating system.
