Oppo is well known for launching multiple versions of its smartphones. The company tends to launch special editions, limited colorways and etc. Now, it’s adding the recently released Oppo Reno 7 to its usual tradition. The company is introducing a new Oppo Reno7 New Year Edition. The new colorways come in a Red Velvet colorway and have a Tiger logo on the back next to the Oppo moniker since 2022 is the year of Tiger in the Chinese zodiac.

The Oppo Reno7 was unveiled by Oppo in November in China. The device is yet to reach global markets, but as far as the Chinese market is concerned, it’s getting a new version. The  Oppo Reno 7 New Year Edition basically gets a new coat of red paint job. It also has a special Tiger logo on the back. Apart from these two differences, it’s basically the same device with the same set of internals.
