Realme Book Enhanced Edition-2

Chinese smartphone maker Realme has released an improved version of its popular Realme Book, with the new laptop featuring the Realme Book Enhanced Edition in the Chinese market.

The laptop features Intel’s new H-series Intel Core i5 11th-gen processor, which supposedly offers up to 21.8% improved multi-core performance and a higher TDP. The laptop is quite similar to its predecessor externally, with major differences in the cooling aspect.

The Realme Book Enhanced Edition also brings with it two new colour options. Here’s everything you need to know about Realme’s latest laptop offering.

Realme Book Enhanced Edition: Pricing and Availability

Realme Book Enhanced Edition

The Realme Book Enhanced Edition is going to retail for CNY 4,700 in China, which roughly translates to Rs 55,000 for the single Core i5 11th Gen variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Customers in China can pre-order the laptop starting today, with sales starting January 7.

Coming to the specifications and design, as is evident by the naming scheme, the Realme Book Enhanced Edition improvises on what the Realme Book offers. The laptop sports a newer Intel Core i5-11320H Willow Cove processor instead of the older i5-1135G7.

This new processor comes with a higher single-core turbo frequency of 4.5GHz and provides over 21.8 per cent faster multi-core performance in comparison to the previous model. The single-thread performance is also improved by 9.6 per cent.

The laptop also sports a newer Intel Xe integrated graphics. It is offered with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB NVMe SSD storage, and boots Windows 11 with Microsoft Office pre-installed.

Other specifications are similar to the Realme Book Slim, meaning the laptop has a 14-inch display with a 2K resolution, 100 per cent sRGB coverage, a 3:2 aspect ratio and 400 nits of brightness.

The battery inside is a 54WHr unit that lasts for up to 12 hours on a single charge, with 65W fast charging support for the laptop. You can also charge the laptop using the 30W Dart charger shipped with your Realme smartphone. A fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and multiple connectivity ports are also present.

This comes on the day Realme’s sub-brand Dizo announced the Dizo Watch R, with the new smartwatch flaunting what the company says is the segment’s largest display, in the form of a 1.3-inch AMOLED panel.

Certain other features that the smartwatch can boast of include over 110 sports modes, up to 12 hours of battery life and SpO2 monitoring, all of which are available for a rather low price.
