Infinix 5G Smartphone Leaked Images Reveal Design & Specifications

A new Infinix 5G smartphone’s images have surfaced online, revealing the mysterious handset’s design and key specifications. Infinix Mobile seems to be hard at works on a 5G-enabled smartphone that packs MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 SoC. This shred of information coincides with previously confirmed details by the company’s CEO Anish Kapoor. Last year, Kapoor shed some light on the Hong Kong-based smartphone company’s plan to launch its maiden 5G-ready phone into the Indian market.

According to the top executive, Infinix will launch its first 5G-enabled smartphone in India in January. Aside from that, Kapoor revealed that Infinix will be unveiling seven other products in the country in the first half of 2022. Now, in a new development, an unnamed Infinix smartphone’s live images have popped up on the internet. These images were originally spotted and shared by XDA Developers. Let’s check out what the purported Infinix smartphone could offer in terms of specifications and design.

New Infinix 5G Smartphone Design & Specifications

The report by XDA Developers does not divulge the moniker of the upcoming Infinix phone. However, if previously leaked renders are anything to go by, this device could turn out to be the Infinix Zero 5G. The leaked image gives us a glimpse of the handset’s glossy rear panel that houses a triple camera setup. Moreover, the camera island seems to feature dual-LED flashes. Also, we can see AI branding in the camera module.

The front panel features a mammoth edge-to-edge display. Furthermore, the chin appears to be fairly large. The display also has a cutout in the center for the front shooter. According to the source, the display will probably deliver a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Judging by the shadow that encompasses the punch hole, the phone is more likely to feature an LCD display, instead of an AMOLED panel. In addition to that, the new Infinix phone could pack a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with 5G support, under the hood.

What Else To Expect?

In the photography department, the Infinix handset could house a 40MP main camera. Moreover, this primary camera would reportedly support 30X zooming capabilities. Details about the Android version the phone will run are still scarce. However, there is a possibility that the handset will come running Android 11 OS with a layer of Inifinix’s XOS skin on top. To recall, the company has previously confirmed that the upcoming Infinix 5G-ready phone will include a MemFusion feature. This feature enables users to extend RAM by 5GB, 3GB, and 2GB.

More vital pieces of information about the Infinix 5G phone are likely to surface on the web before the device goes official.
