Redmi Note 11 series, Redmi Smart Band Pro India Launch Date Teased

Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S

The Redmi Note 11 series smartphones and Redmi Smart Band Pro smartwatch’s India launch have been officially teased. The Realme Note 11S will launch in India on February 9. This is reportedly the same phone that was launched globally on January 26. The phone is expected to pack a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC. Aside from that, it could house a quad rear camera setup featuring a 108MP main camera.

Redmi Note 11 Series India Launch

Now, Redmi India has hinted at an impending arrival of more Redmi Note 11 series smartphones. However, it is still unclear whether these handsets will go official alongside the Note 11S next month. Taking to Twitter, Redmi India shared a teaser photo along with the caption, “The Beasts are coming” with the text “Its 11:11.” This is a major sign that the brand is gearing up for the imminent arrival of the hotly-anticipated Redmi Note 11 series. According to a report by 91mobiles, the company will bring the global Redmi Note 11 series phones into the Indian market rather than the Chinese model.

The publication has based this speculation on the fact that the company has already launched the Chinese variants of the Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ in the country as the Xiaomi 11i and 11i HyperCharge. The Redmi Note 11 series global version has four smartphones including the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, Note 11 Pro 5G, and Note 11S. Redmi is likely to launch all models in India. However, the Note 11 Pro 5G isn’t likely to see the light of the day in the country in a bid to keep the price lower.

Redmi Smart Band Pro India Launch

The company has confirmed the Redmi Smart Band Pro India launch date by sharing a teaser on its official Twitter account on January 27. The equally-anticipated smart wearable will go official in the country on February 9. To recall, the Redmi Smart Band Pro was previously expected to launch in India alongside the Redmi Note 11T 5G on November 30 after the wearable bagged the Indian BIS certification. However, the Redmi launched the fitness band in global markets in November, after unveiling it in China in October along with the Redmi Watch 2 Lite.

Furthermore, a dedicated website for the smart wearable has gone live on Xiaomi’s official website. As expected, the website sheds more light on the fitness band’s features and other key details. Upfront, the watch sports a 1.47-inch AMOLED touch screen display. Under the hood, it packs an Apollo 3.5 processor. Moreover, the device supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and boasts over ten fitness modes. As if that weren’t enough, the wearable will come with a 24-hour heart rate monitor and SpO2 monitor.

Aside from that, the Redmi Smart Band Pro will provide more than 50 band faces. It will draw its juices from a robust battery that offers a battery life of up to 14 days. Furthermore, the band is available in a sole Black color option in the global market. It will be a major upgrade over the Redmi Smart Band which went official in 2020, carrying a price tag of INR 1,599. Regrettably, details about the Redmi Smart Band Pro India price are still scarce.
