Nubia Red Magic 5G Lite

Chinese manufacturer, Nubia, is currently working on a couple of smartphones. Recently, the Nubia Red Magic 7  got both TENAA and the Chinese 3C certification. The model number of this smartphone is NX679J. Now, a new model with the model NX709J has also passed the 3C certification. According to speculation from digital analysts, this smartphone is probably the Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro. From the 3C certification information, the Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro comes with the same NB-A20825C fast charging head as the Red Magic 7. This means that the device supports a 165W fast charging protocol of up to 20V×8.25A.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro

Relative to the Magic 7, the Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro is a significant improvement. There are improvements in terms of performance, battery, and other aspects. The Nubia Red Magic 7 will continue to have a built-in turbo cooling fan, with a transparent back cover and a rear three-camera design. The mobile phone should come with a 6.8-inch OLED screen. Furthermore, this smartphone will support a high refresh rate of 165Hz. In terms of charging, the standard charger of the mobile phone will support up to 165W fast charging. In the camera department, this device uses a 64MP main camera and an 8MP front camera.

According to information from TENAA, the Red Magic 7 has 3 colors including green, black, red/blue gradients. This smartphone also supports on-screen fingerprint recognition. The machine has a body size of 170.57 × 78.33 × 9.5mm, weighs 215g, and has a built-in 4500 mAh battery.

Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro

In order to better understand the improvements, let’s quickly recall the key features of the latest model, the Red Magic 6S Pro. The latter uses the same 6.8-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 20:9 AMOLED display. As a gaming handset, the screen is one of the main features we look at when buying. So it’s logical that the 6S Pro also boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit 1.07 billion colors, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Under the hood, it carries the Snapdragon 888+ chip. There are several memory options including 12GB / 16GB / 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB / 512GB (UFS 3.1) internal storage. The rear camera has a 64MP main sensor, while the front camera is an 8MP CMOS. Finally, the 4500mAh battery supports 120W charging. So it turns out the new model will only differ in terms of processor and fast charging. This is not entirely a significant improvement but overall, it is a decent device.
