Poco India first hinted at the debut of the budget-friendly 5G handset in India on Monday, February 7 by sharing a teaser. Regrettably, the Chinese brand did not divulge the exact launch date of the smartphone at the time. However, that has changed now.
Poco has been teasing the M4 Pro 5G phone for quite some time now. In its latest tweet, the brand is offering Poco fans something to cheer about by confirming the Poco M4 Pro 5G India launch date. Poco is set to launch the mid-range 5G phone in India on February 15. Furthermore, the handset will go on sale in the country via Flipkart. Aside from that, the landing page on the e-commerce platform suggests that the Poco M4 Pro 5G will be available at least in a Blue color option in India. The teaser confirms that the phone will go official in the country on February 15. Moreover, this will be the brand’s first offering of 2022 in India. Despite the lack of an official confirmation, 91mobiles suggests that the phone could ship with 4GB / 6GB RAM and offer 64GB / 128GB storage options. The 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant could set you back INR 15,000. Likewise, the 6GB RAM+128GB storage model will probably retail for INR 17,000.
The M4 Pro 5G smartphone sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel that delivers FHD+ resolution, coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate. Aside from that, the screen offers a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Furthermore, the side edge houses a fingerprint scanner. The Poco M4 Pro 5G packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor under the hood.
