Vivo unveiled its Vivo V23e 5G in November last year, and the device kickstarted the Vivo V23 series. Back in the last month, after much anticipation, the brand introduced the remaining Vivo V23 and Vivo V23 Pro in India featuring powerful 5G chipsets, capable cameras, and the fancy style of the series, this time around, boosted by a color-changing back. Now, the company seems to be ready to bring the missing Vivo V23e 5G to India. The device is more affordable than the vanilla and still brings a powerful 5G processor. Details of this launch have emerged ahead of the February 21 unveiling. Now, a new report brings details about the pricing info.
The new information comes straight from the folks at 91Mobiles. According to them, the Vivo V23e 5G will be sold for INR 25,990 which is just around $334 / €295. We suspect that this info goes for the base model. The variant that offers more storage will likely be priced above that mark. Despite the price, the report states that there won’t be major changes in the hardware or design of this handset. That said, the Vivo V23e 5G will be the exact same device when it launch back in November for other markets except India.
Vivo V23e 5G specifications
Onde time that the device is already available for nearly three months, we already know exactly what we can expect from it. The Vivo V23e 5G brings the style and slim profile of its two siblings. The main exception probably will be the lack of a color-changing back that reacts to sunlight or UV light.
Gizchina News of the week
The Vivo V23e 5G flaunts a gorgeous 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 2,400 x 1,080 pixels of resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The device brings a waterdrop notch design at its top and has the series’ iconic powerful selfie camera with 44 MP resolution. Moving around to the back, the device has a triple-camera setup inside of a rectangular island. It comprises a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture with PDAF. There is also an 8 MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2 MP macro shooter.
Under the hood, the V23e 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC which is the same as the POCO M4 Pro 5G. This 6 nm processor comes paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. However, reports suggest a 6 GB RAM version with 64 GB of Internal Storage. Time will tell. Anyway, the device also has a micro SD card slot allowing for further memory expansion.
The device is just 7.4 mm thick and for that reason has an “okay” 4,050 mAh battery capacity. It charges fastly thanks to 44 W fast-charging technology. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Under display fingerprint scanner, and an Android 11 with FuntouchOS 12 running on top.
