Regarding OLED TVs, here is what LG has to say

Gizchina News of the week

“The same content can look different depending on which display technology a TV has. LG OLED TVs have self-lit pixels that turn on and off to achieve perfect black and infinite contrast. LED and Mini LED TVs use backlights that are not self-emissive. This means they can’t create perfect black and can also suffer from the halo effect. Self-lit pixels don’t have this problem — there’s no light bleed and no halo, so you get perfect black and better image quality…Self-lit pixel technology allows LG OLED TVs to be ultra-slim with perfect picture quality”.

According to the company, the 42-inch C2 OLED TV not only express perfect black but also original color. This TV also has a certification that shows that it has 100% color fidelity. The color fidelity test shows how close the TV color is to the real-life color. According to the test result, LG OLED TVs come with 100% color fidelity. However, LED displays have about 70% to 80% color fidelity.

Although the new LG 42-inch C2 OLED TV does not support 8K resolution, it supports a 4K display. Furthermore, it comes with a 120Hz refresh rate which makes it perfect for gaming. The materials used for OLED lighting have also been changed to enhance and strengthen light intensity. The result of all this is a brighter, sharper image, and a better viewing experience.
