The developers of the Telegram messenger have released a major update. The company has improved the download manager, updated the interface, and improved the streaming section of the platform. This was reported on the website of the messenger.

The improved download manager will allow users to share with each other any files up to 2 GB. In addition, the authors have added a “Downloads” section, where you can track the progress and history of all downloads on the platform.

The second significant improvement will be the attachments section. When sending photos to friends, you can view the order and visual appearance of the shipment. You can also swap pictures for easier viewing.

Another major change was the improvement of the broadcast section. Now users will be able to stream using third-party programs such as OBS or Xsplit Broadcaster. To do this, you need to create a video chat and click the “Start with” button, after selecting the desired program.

When sending multiple photos or videos, tap ‘… selected’ at the top of the panel to preview how the album will look in the chat when it’s sent – and rearrange or remove selected media.

The previous Telegram update was released on February 1st. Then the developers added video stickers, new reactions to the application and improved a number of functions.

Gizchina News of the week

An updated version of the popular Telegram messenger for mobile devices running Android and iOS operating systems has been released last month. The developer has implemented a number of improvements and fixes.

One of the innovations is video stickers, which the user can generate based on regular video recordings. Telegram previously had vector animated stickers available, but they require technical knowledge and specialized programs like Adobe Illustrator to create them. Users can generate new video stickers using almost any video editor. To do this, just write the @stickers bot and follow its instructions.

Animations when sending reactions are now more compact. To send a larger animation, just hold your finger on the emoji in the reactions menu. The reactions themselves do appear for the sender and recipient – the animation will start simultaneously for all participants in the conversation.

Five new emojis have appeared in the list of available reactions. They can be in use as interactive emoji by sending an animated version as a separate message.

Implemented quick navigation through recently opened chats. You can quickly return to the desired chat after several transitions to other chats. To do this, you need to hold the “Back” button with your finger. The list will contain those chats from forwarded messages, via links, short addresses, from profiles, and so on.

In addition, the quality of calls has been better, translation support is now available when browsing the web quickly, it has become possible to send messages without sound, etc.
