South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, is getting set to unveil two foldable smartphones. The company will unveil the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 as well as the Galaxy Z Flip 4 soon. Recently, popular tech blogger, @iceuniverse revealed some information regarding the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. The recent leak reveals that this device will come with a triple rear camera setup. According to reports, the telephoto lens of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is even more powerful than that of the S22 Ultra. The 3x telephoto lens of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra uses a 10-megapixel Sony IMX754 with a 1/3.52-inch photosensitive area and a single-pixel size of 1.12μm. It also supports full-pixel dual-core focusing.

For the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, it is expected that the telephoto lens will use its own CMOS, which is the Samsung S5K3J1 on the previous generation S21 Ultra. Compared with Sony CMOS, the sensor area and single-pixel are larger. This will obviously bring better quality video experience.

There have been a couple of renders on the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The renders reveal the camera module arrangement and it is similar to that of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The external screen is 6.2 inches, and the ratio is 5:4 from the previous generation. It becomes 6:5 and after unfolding. The inner screen will reach 7.6 inches with a ratio of 24.5:9 becomes 23:9. Overall, the phone is more square than the previous generation.

In other respects, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will use the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ mobile platform. It will also be optimized in terms of weight, controlled at around 250g.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 continues the industrial design of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It uses a slender outer screen and a central punch-hole screen solution. In addition, the inner screen uses an under-screen camera technology. Thus, there is no neither a notch nor a punch-hole. On the whole, it looks like a “remote control” in the folded state, and a full screen when unfolded.

In terms of parameters, @WaqarKhanHD claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has an external screen size of 6.19 inches, an internal screen size of 7.56 inches, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This device will support 45W charging and pre-installs the Android 12 operating system. As usual, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will debut in the second half of this year.
