The iQOO 11 and 11 Pro smartphones’ India launch could be right around the corner, according to a new report. For those unaware, the iQOO 11 series comprises two smartphones. This includes the base iQOO 11 and the iQOO 11 Pro. It is no secret that iQOO is on the verge of unveiling its next smartphones as part of the 11 series.

Now, there have been a lot of speculations surrounding the upcoming smartphones lately. The iQOO 11 series has been floating around the rumor mill since the iQOO 10 arrived in China earlier this year. To recap, iQOO launched the iQOO 10 as the iQOO 9T for the Indian market.

The Vivo sub-brand is likely to launch the two 11 series flagship smartphones by the end of 2022. However, the exact launch date is still a mystery. An earlier report suggests the 11 Pro will pack a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip from Qualcomm. Now, Qualcomm is likely to announce its next-gen chip in November or December.

So, it is safe to assume that the iQOO 11 series could break cover around the same time. In the meantime, the Chinese and Indian variants’ model numbers have surfaced online. This piece of information comes from tipster Paras Guglani (via PriceBaba). The report suggests the India variant carries model number iQOO I2209. However, the Chinese variant of the same device will carry model number iQOO V2243A.

Furthermore, iQOO is reportedly prepping to launch the 11 Pro model in India. The iQOO 11 Pro has model number I2212. Likewise, the 11 Pro Chinese variant comes with model number V2254A. Both devices are likely to get the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Also, the 11 Pro could support 200W fast charging. The flagship phones will probably sport Samsung E6 AMOLED displays.

Moreover, the 11 Pro is likely to feature a display panel with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. For optics, both devices could house a 50MP Sony IMX8-series sensor. Regrettably, details about the rest of the camera specs are still scarce.
