Xiaomi 13 series gets a new rescheduled launch date

Chinese brand, Xiaomi is all set to release its latest flagship series, Xiaomi 13 series. The company was initially scheduled to release this new series on December 1st. However, for some reason(s), the company had to postpone the event without announcing a new launch date. Nevertheless, a new report now reveals the launch date for the Xiaomi 13 series. A new poster from the Dewu App Xiaomi store shows that the new product launch conference for the Xiaomi 13 series will hold at 19:00 on December 11. This is only a third-party store poster and there is no official info from Xiaomi at the moment.

At this event, the company will unveil the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro as well as its new Android skin, MIUI 14. The Xiaomi 13 / Pro series will come with the new MIUI 14 system out of the box. According to the reports so far, the Xiaomi 13 will come with a straight screen, a custom high-end OLED straight screen. The display visual is quadrilateral. For the Pro version, it will use a hyperbolic screen. In terms of body size, the Xiaomi 13 has a width of 1.61mm on three sides. Only the chin measures 1.81 mm and this is the widest bezel in the display. The company comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.3%.

The official poster shows that the Xiaomi 13 is 71.5 mm wide and it uses a centre punch-hole screen. The new Xiaomi 13 series will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip as standard. All the models in this series will use this chip. In the camera department, the Pro model of this series comes with a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor and a 75mm Leica telephoto lens. In addition to this new series, Xiaomi will also launch a number of new products at the press conference. The company will unveil devices such as the Xiaomi Mini Host, Xiaomi 10 Gigabit Router, Xiaomi Sound Pro, etc.
