Chinese brand, Xiaomi, releases a lot of products to the market within a year. While many people know the company for mobile phones, it also releases accessories and other devices. Xiaomi will hold the Redmi 2023 New Year Conference on the evening of December 27th. Today, the company officially teased the Redmi Buds 4 Youth Edition headset. TheĀ Redmi Buds 4 Youth Edition is a semi-in-ear wireless earphone. This device weighs 3.9g per ear and it is available in 4 vibrant colours including black, orange, white, and green. This device will launch with the Redmi K60 series on Dec. 27th.

Xiaomi released the Redmi Buds 3 Youth Edition headset in October 2021. It uses a unique design of “cat ears”, supports Bluetooth 5.2 and has a battery life of 18 hours. In addition, this device supports IP54 dustproof and waterproof and it also supports a USB Type-C interface. The price of the Redmi Buds 3 Youth Edition is 99 yuan ($14).Ā Redmi Buds 4 Youth Edition has undergone major changes in appearance, and there is no shadow of family inheritance at all. It has been changed from a handleless design to a handle design similar to AirPods. However, the company is yet to unveil the price of this device.

About two weeks ago, Xiaomi released a rare semi-in-ear noise cancelling headset, the Xiaomi Buds 4. This device comes with a 699 yuan ($100) starting price. The earphone have three colour schemes, and adopt an ear-mounted design. The Xiaomi Buds 4 adopts an “angel ring” design. It comes with a graphene dual magnetic sound unit, supports dynamic adaptive EQ compensation (requires Android 6.0 and above mobile phones). This is the first LHDC 5.0 transmission protocol, and has Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification.

It also supports AI call noise reduction,Ā as well as spatial audio, with a built-in six-axis sensor.Ā In terms of battery life, Xiaomi Buds 4 supports a single 6-hour battery life andĀ a total battery life of 30 hours.Ā In addition, the headset supports dual device connection, IP54 sweat resistance, and more.
