As the year comes to an end, it is not a surprise that several mobile phones are getting huge discounts. Motorola released the Motorola Moto Razr 2022 folding screen mobile phone in August this year. Today, Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo China’s mobile phone business department, announced that the price of the Moto Razr 2022 will drop to 4999 yuan ($717). This means that this device is getting a direct 1000 yuan ($143) price cut. This device is the first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile phone that cost as low as 5000 yuan.
The Moto Razr 2022 adopts the third-generation star track hinge tech which takes care of one of the basic issues with folding mobile phones, the crease. This tech does not only prevent crease development, it also supports multi-angle hovering. The inner screen uses a 6.7-inch 2400 × 1080 resolution OLED folding screen. The display supports 144Hz refresh rate (only in game mode), 10bit color depth and DC dimming. The external screen is a 2.7-inch 800 × 573 BOE OLED screen, which has 9 touch panels including a camera, weather, schedule, fitness, communication, smart travel, commuting advice, smart express and application list.

Moto Razr 2022 specs
The moto Razr 2022 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC as well as LPDDR5 memory and UFS3.1 flash memory. The device also uses a built-in 3500 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. It has a front-facing 32MP selfie camera. On the rear, there is a 50MP main camera and this device also comes with stereo dual speakers, Dolby Atmos, and features such as an X-axis linear motor and five great signal technologies (covering 19 5G frequency bands). The device is 7.62mm thick when unfolded, 16.99mm thick when folded, and weighs 198g.
In terms of price, during Lenovo New Year’s Day (20:00 on December 29th to 24:00 on December 31st), the Moto Razr 2022 prices will be as follows:
