Yesterday, Steam published a list of the top games of the year (2022).
The platform singled out six categories at once: the best games of the year by revenue, the best new games of the year by revenue, the best games by the number of simultaneous game sessions, the best games that came out of early access by revenue, the best VR games by revenue, and the best games for Steam Deck by the number of daily active players.

Each category included 12 projects. The company has placed the titles in a random order so as not to disclose the exact figures for their financial performance.
