OnePlus will Launch Ace 2 with a Special Chipset for Power Management


OnePlus is preparing to launch another smartphone very soon. The Chinese Phone maker will launch the OnePlus Ace 2 in China next week. The device will serve as the Chinese version of the recently launched OnePlus 11R. Ahead of the launch, the company has shared some details of the smartphone.

OnePlus has shared a couple of details about the upcoming device via Weibo posts. The company has revealed that the OnePlus Ace 2 will feature last year’s flagship chip from Qualcomm. That is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

Another interesting thing the company shared is that, the OnePlus Ace 2 will feature another customer chip. This chip is the Oppo SuperVOOC S power management chip. This chip will take care of the battery management of the device. Helping the phone last longer battery per charge while it also takes care of its longevity.

The OnePlus Ace 2 will also feature another special display chip. This chip will be responsible for image processing. The chip will bring improvements in the rendering of images and the refresh rate of the phone. With this, the phone’s Snapdragon SoC will have a lot of its loads taken off which will enable the phone handle other tasks quickly and efficiently.

The Ace 2 will also feature a 5,000mAh battery capacity with a massive 100W fast charging.

OnePlus calls the device a “three chip powerhouse”. Which explains the power efficiency, impressive image processing and the flagship performance of the Snapdragon 8 +Gen 1 chipset. OnePlus Ace 2

According to the company, the device’s power efficiency can last over 1,600 full charges and discharging with 80% of the battery capacity still left. The company said 1,600 charges should be enough to last you over 4 years.

Difference Between the OnePlus Ace 2 and the OnePlus 11R

Like we stated earlier, the OnePlus Ace 2 is just the Chinese version of the OnePlus 11R. Therefore they both share similar specifications. However the Chinese version uses the ColorOS 13 while the Global version also comes with Oxygen OS.

Both phones also pickup the design of the flagship model, OnePlus 11. The main difference will be the lack of Hasselblad branding. Which means, there is a downgrade in the camera specifications.
