MIUI 13 was released about a year ago. And MIUI 14, the next iteration of Xiaomi’s custom Android skin, has already been announced for China. It debuted with the launch of Xiaomi 13. And as we move onward with 2023, more of the older Xiaomi devices will be getting the new skin that will be based on Android 13.

However, it doesn’t mean that all the previous devices that Xiaomi released will get the update. Not all old devices are eligible for the update. When Will Your Device Get the New Update?

10 of the devices that are on the eligible list will get the Global MIUI 14 update earlier than the others. And we expect all the others to start receiving the update from the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2023.

Unfortunately, your phone will not get the major update if you don’t see your device on the eligible lists.
