Realme 10T launched with Dimensity 810 and huge battery

Realme 10T

Realme nowadays has a lot of smartphones in distinct price categories. Of course, while devices like the Realme GT Neo 5 (GT3) are the ones that steal the headlines, the brand still has good offerings for the budget level. Well, the former Oppo brand made its name thanks to mid-range and low-end smartphones. From time to time, it comes up with all-around devices to honor its legacy. Today, the brand is introducing the Realme 10T. It’s a decent budget smartphone, however, as usual, it has some shortcomings. Without further ado, let’s see what this device brings in tow for the market.

Realme 10T specifications

The Realme 10T is a budget smartphone with 5G connectivity. It packs a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone boasts the usual teardrop notch design, which nowadays, is a trademark for budget phones. The bezels are fairly thick, however, this is acceptable for a smartphone in this price segment.

Under the hood, the Realme 10T packs the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. That’s a decent chipset made on a 6nm process, it’s much better than the MediaTek Dimensity 700 that has been widely used by smartphone brands even in 2023. Interestingly, the smartphone has options with 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it’s either 128 GB or 256 GB of Internal Storage. However, you can easily expand that amount with the use of a good micro SD card.

Realme 10T

The Realme 10T keeps things simple when we look at the optics. The phone has a 50-Megapixel main camera, a 2-Megapixel macro, and 2-Megapixel portrait units. For selfies and video calls, it boasts a 16-Megapixel selfie snapper. In terms of battery life, the smartphone does not disappoint with a 5,000 mAh battery. It charges via 18W charging, which is not the fastest standard nowadays, but could be worse. So we are okay with that! The device’s biggest downside is the Android version. It still runs the Android 12-based version of Realme UI 3. Hopefully, the brand will address this soon bringing the smartphone to Android 13.

The Realme 10T also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It’s funny how budget phones offer more extras like 3.5mm jacks and micro SD card slots.
