Huawei Watch Ultimate Beats the Apple Watch Ultra with 24hrs Deep Sea Water Resistant


On the 23 of March, Huawei hosted a big launch event. At the event, the Chinese company launched a couple of products. Huawei launched the Huawei P60 Series, Huawei MatePad 11 2023, Huawei Freebuds and the ultimate premium watch Huawei Watch Ultimate.

As you may already know, Huawei is very good when it comes to being innovative and making high quality products. Huawei already has a couple of durable smartwatches on the market. One of the best things about Huawei watches is their battery lives. If Huawei tells you 10 days, it’s 10 days. And you can continuously enjoy 10 days of battery life for a very long time.

Personally, I do have a Huawei Watch that I have been using for the past three years. I still enjoy 14 days of battery life today. For this reason, I had to put aside my other smart watches. Huawei Watch Ultimate

Huawei’s new smart watch comes with the best quality, great battery life and a more premium design. Huawei said the Watch ultimate can submerge to 100 meters under water which is just unbelievable.

When Apple launched the Apple Watch Ultra, the company said it could submerge to 40 meters. This innovation was something quite interesting. Huawei’s new watch can go over 2x deeper which is another great news for the wearable industry. It can also last 25hrs under water according to Huawei.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate features a 1.5-INCH LTPO AMOLED Display. It comes with dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 60Hz. It features a battery size of 530mAh which can give you upto 14days of endurance per charge. For heavy users with all the sensors activated, the Watch Ultimate can still give you 8 days of baatery life.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate comes with a Qi wireless charging. This allows you to charge using any available wireless charger. When using the charger that came with the watch, it should charge from 0 to 100% within 60 minutes.

The smartwatch also comes with the usual sensors such as Blood Oxygen, Heart rate, stress measurement and ECG Measurement.

The best part of the Watch is its water resistant capabilities. It comes with 16 water resistant structures to help it withstand deep sea pressure. Huawei even experimented this by putting the Watch under ISO 22810 water resistant standard. The company also placed it under  EN13319 device equipment standard test. This was to ensure that the Watch could survive 110-meter depth submersion for 24 hours.

Another feature worth mentioning is the Expedition Mode. This feature was designed for those who love to go on outdoor adventures. It uses dual-frequency five-system GNSS positioning technology to provide accurate mapping. If you find yourself exploring the wilderness, you can set waypoints which can help you find your way around.

The case of the Huawei Watch Ultimate is made of zirconium-based liquid metal. The plastic strap also comes in hydrogenated nitrile rubber. On the front side, the bezel is also made of ceramic. The 1.5-inch display on the Watch Ultimate comes with sapphire glass protection.

Availability and Price of the Huawei Watch Ultimate Huawei Watch Ultimate

The Huawei Watch Ultimate will arrive in Europe and the United Kingdom. Huawei said the Watch will arrive on the 3rd of April. It will arrive in two options. Expedition Black which comes with a plastic strap. And Voyage Blue which comes with a metallic strap.

Currently, Huawei has shared the prices in China which are set at CNY5,999 ($880/€800/£710) and CNY6,999 ($1,025/€940/£830). The company will reveal global prices later.
