It’s Confirmed – Oppo A98 5G To Come With Great Specs!


The launch of the Oppo A98 5G seems imminent. With the device popping up in several certifications, such as SIRIM, NBTC, and CQC, Oppo will likely make an official announcement soon. Also, the device was recently spotted in Geekbench, which gave away some key specifications.

But if you were waiting for the detailed specs of the Oppo A98 5G, this is your lucky day! The full spec sheet of the upcoming A-series Oppo 5G smartphone has emerged. It confirms some of the known key details and sheds light on some of the rumored hardware specifications.

Oppo A98 5G Will Be a Mid-Range King!

As seen in the leaked poster, the Oppo A98 5G will come with a punch-hole 6.72-inch display. The panel will sport a 120Hz refresh rate and will run at an FHD+ resolution. Like what we saw in the Geekbench listing, the phone packs a Snapdragon 695 chipset that’s paired with 8GB of RAM.

Regarding storage, the leaked poster shows the device comes with 256GB of storage. And on the back, the Oppo A98 5G will come with a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP macro cam, and a depth lens. Moreover, in the punch-hole of the front display, there will be a 32MP front-facing camera.

On the software side, the A98 5G will ship with ColorOS based on Android 13. And as the leaked poster shows, a 5000mAh battery will power the whole device up. That should offer a great Screen On Time (SOT), considering the fact that the device runs on a highly efficient Qualcomm SoC.

Other than that, the Oppo A98 5G supports 67W fast charging, which should quickly get the battery from 0 to 100%. And when it comes to color options, the phone will be available in Cool Black and Dreamy Blue colorways. The leak did not confirm the price tag, though. But it is expected to launch at around $290.
