Gmail Dark Web Monitoring

After a long waiting, Google I/O has been opened with many novelties for all those involved within Google’s ecosystem. One of the first announcements was a big new feature set to reach Gmail. If the future is AI, Google wants to be ready by implementing it on each product/service it has to offer. Earlier this week, the search giant brought a beta version of generative AI into its Workspace products. Now, the AI revolution will reach Gmail.

The Google I/O has been opened with Gmail at the center of the first reveal. The search giant’s CEO Sundar Pichai took to the stage to announce a new generative AI feature. It will reach Gmail and will be called Help Me Write. It will assist users with writing emails. During the Keynote, Pichai showed the feature with an example of a person who received a voucher from an airline after canceling their flight. The user wanted a refund and let the AI do its job. Once the user clicks on the pencil, they can enter a prompt of what they want to be written. The AI will do so and write an email with the needed info.

Google I/O

Obviously, the Gmail user will be able to tweak and optimize the email written by the AI. For instance, the user can add more details to the text, shorten it, or give it a more formal tone. This is just the beginning, and we are pretty sure the company will further optimize it. As per the CEO, the feature will not stay limited to Gmail. The email client as one of Google’s main products is a priority, despite some controversial choices, but more products will get the Help me write feature soon. Worth noting, that the feature may soon reach Google Messages in the near future where it will likely be useful.
