The PlayStation VR2 headset has been exclusive on its direct-to-consumer site. Now, the Japanese firm has widened the availability of its headset. In fact, a month ago, Sony issued an announcement on Twitter, saying that the VR device will become available for more users soon. However, there was no concrete release date or list of stores that would be stocking the headgear. Now, the PSVR 2 is available in stores such as Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, and more.

How Much Is The PlayStation VR2?
As the availability of the PlayStation VR2 has widened, there is every reason to think that Sony will run various promo campaigns for it. The thing is that this VR headset is not cheap – it costs as much as $550. Considering this segment’s poor ecology, it’s logical for many gamers to avoid buying similar gadgets. For instance, the PS5, which has a wider ecology, costs less.

To help itself get out of the circle, Sony wants its high-end VR headgear to become available to more customers. This is the only way to make competition with the Meta Quest platform. This competition is what the market needs. We mean, this could become a win-win move.
