Sony WF-1000XM5 Is Coming on July 24th

Gizchina News of the week

The last-gen WF-1000XM4 already had industry-leading Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). It can offer superb noise canceling in any given environment. But as the tagline of the official announcement suggests, Sony might have made another breakthrough with the WF-1000XM5.

On that note, the “For the Sound” part of the tagline hints at better driver configuration. If you have tried the WF-1000XM4, you may already know how good it is at handling a wider range of sound frequencies. From the low range to the mids to the highs, the drivers of the 1000XM4 beautifully execute all of it.

So, it would be pretty interesting to see at which height Sony takes the WF-1000XM5. Previously, reports have suggested that the earbuds will feature 8.4mm Dynamic Driver X technology. We also got to know that the buds will come with proprietary chipsets.

Sony WF-1000XM5 Leak

If the reports are true, Sony can indeed take music listening to the next level. Of course, you must wait till July 24th to see whether Sony can deliver. After all, none of the reports can be deemed to be valid unless Sony officially shares information about the WF-1000XM5.

ANC is getting worse after XM3, which is actually has best ANC ever (you can find comparison tests in internet). Let’s see what they will cut in next version.

I don’t believe they will add at LC3 or at least Adaptive AptX.
