Honor X40 GT Racing Edition: Landing on September 21

Honor X40 GT Racing Edition

If you can recall, Honor launched the X40 GT last year in October. Now, the company is readying up the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition launch. It’s set to debut on September 21, which is just two days away.

As you can expect, the X40 GT Racing Edition comes with a special design. While the regular X40 GT comes in three different colorways, the Racing Edition comes in two. And both of them have a touch of uniqueness to them.

What To Expect from the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition

Regarding the design, both color options have vertical strips spanning the length of the back panel. As you can see from the picture I’ve attached below, Honor has repositioned the “Matrix AI vision Camera” text. It’s now on the stripe instead of being around the camera Island.

Besides this, Huawei hasn’t officially revealed any further information about the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition. But the phone was listed on JD.com. According to the listing, the device will have 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The regular model came in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations.

Other than that, the X40 GT Racing Edition will have a 50MP primary camera with 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors on the back. And on the front, the device will feature a 16MP selfie shooter.

That said, Honor hasn’t revealed the pricing information of the X40 GT Racing Edition. But as mentioned earlier, the launch is just two days away. So, you don’t need to wait long to know all about it. Also, we will be covering the device when it launches. Stay tuned if you want to know all about it.
