Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 2 Now Available for Nothing Phone (1) Users

Nothing earlier announced the Nothing OS 2.5 stable version based on Android 14 for its latest Nothing Phone (2) customers, and as promised by the company, Open Beta testing for this version began for Phone (1) users in December last year. Now, According to Nothing’s community post, another Open Beta of Nothing OS 2.5 is available via an OTA for Nothing Phone (1) owners who have already registered to Open Beta 1 on their devices. The users of Phone (1) who have not yet installed the Open Beta 1 will have to do so before proceeding to the Open Beta 2 version.

How to Update?

Install from Open Beta 1:

  • Navigate to Settings > System > System Update
  • Tap “Check for update” and follow the steps for installation

Install from non-Beta OS versions:

  • You first need to install Open Beta
  • Then, as above, navigate to Settings > System > System Update
  • Tap “Check for update” and follow the steps for installation of Open Beta 2
