The original Xiaomi Pad 6 series came out in last year’s April. However, there seems to be a delay for the Pad 7 series. A renowned leaker on Weibo goes by the name Smart Pikachu has said that the Xiaomi Pad 7 series is scheduled to launch in Q3 2024. The leaker has a track record of accurate leaks, such as Xiaomi 14 Ultra leaks in the past. If Smart Pikachu’s track record holds, the Xiaomi Pad 7 series will also offer a fascinating car integration feature.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Series Will Have Car Integration

The leaker has also claimed that the Pad 7 series will be suitable for car use via plug-and-play. Since Xiaomi is also an EV manufacturer, it’s beneficial that they are making the ecosystem a focus with their products. While the functionality of car integration is a mystery, it is possible the Pad 7 could potentially act as a secondary information display within Xiaomi EVs. It could display navigation, and media controls, or even become an extended control hub for managing lights, climate control, etc.
