Xiaomi Mi 11X Series Receives HyperOS Update


Xiaomi Mi 11X series consists of two models: the Mi 11X and the Mi 11x Pro. Now the users of these phones can update to the latest Xiaomi’s custom skin. Below you will find all the details surrounding the HyperOS update on the Mi 11X series.

The Chinese tech giant is rapidly releasing the HyperOS update to its previous devices. Thanks to the HyperOS update, the users of older Xiaomi devices can also enjoy the latest functionalities coming with HyperOS. Users have reported that the Mi 11X series smartphones have started receiving the HyperOS update. The Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro have received the update with build numbers OS1.0.1.0.TKHINXM and OS1.0.1.0.UKKINXM respectively. However, there is a difference for each update.

Xiaomi Mi 11X Series Receives HyperOS Update

The vanilla Mi 11X has received the HyperOS update based on Android 13. This is not the latest version of Android. Moreover, the phone also receives the March 2024 security patch which is not the latest one. The size of the update for Mi 11x is 1.6GB.

On the other hand, the Mi 11x Pro has received the HyperOS update based on the latest Android 14 OS. The phone also gets the latest April 2024 security patch. The size of the update is also bigger at 4.8GB.

Mi 11X Series Highlights

The Mi 11X series was launched in 2021 and was targeted at the Indian market. The series that includes Mi 11x and Mi 11x Pro are rebranded versions of the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro. The highlights of the devices are their high-end chipsets: Snapdragon 870 powering the vanilla model while Snapdragon 888 for the Pro model. Both the devices feature a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rating making it ideal for gamers and multimedia consumption. The devices came out of the box with Android 11 OS.
