Huawei releases a plethora of devices – wireless mouse, kids watch, smart glass & more

Today, Huawei released a plethora of devices at its summer all-scenario product launch conference. In addition to the Huawei MateBook 14 notebook and Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch tablet, the company also unveiled the Huawei Watch Fit 3 and Huawei Vision Smart Screen 4 / 4 SE. Furthermore, the company also launched a wireless mouse, a kid’s watch, a smart glass, a free clip headphone, and an all-in-one magnetic power bank. Huawei wireless mouse Star Flash Edition / Second Generation Released

Huawei recently unveiled the second generation of its wireless mouse during a press conference on May 15. The mouse, known as the Star Flash Edition, is selling for 199 yuan ($28). Pre-sales are scheduled to commence at 16:08 today, with the official sale starting at 10:00 on May 20.

The new Huawei wireless mouse boasts impressive features, including Star Flash connection technology that offers a 1kHz return rate and exceptional anti-interference capabilities, surpassing its predecessor. It supports two connection methods: USB-A and Bluetooth 5.1 proximity discovery, enhancing its versatility. Moreover, the mouse is equipped with a high precision of up to 12000 DPI, ensuring accurate tracking for users. Huawei Children’s Watch 5 Pro released

Huawei has recently unveiled the new Huawei Children’s Watch 5 Pro and Huawei Children’s Watch 5 Shinyao Edition. The Children’s Watch 5 Pro, priced at 1,198 yuan ($166), is available in pink and blue colours, while the Shinyao Edition is priced at 698 yuan ($97). These watches come with advanced features such as offline positioning 2.0, an 800mAh battery, 20m swimming grade waterproofing, and floor positioning capabilities, ensuring accurate location tracking even without a network connection for up to 5 days. Additionally, they offer anti-addiction protection, high-definition dual cameras, and content filtering for child safety.

Moreover, the Huawei Children’s Watch 5 Pro is the first in the industry to receive the “Children’s Safety Protection Certification” from the China Quality Certification Center, highlighting its commitment to ensuring children’s safety. This new model joins the previously released frameless, aviator, square semi-frame, titanium hollow, and gold wire styles, offering a wider range of options for consumers.

The lenses are coated with 11 layers of high-quality coating, ensuring both style and functionality. Despite the new design, the configuration of the temples remains unchanged, maintaining the sleek and comfortable fit of the Huawei Smart Glasses 2.

One of the key improvements in the Huawei Smart Glasses 2 is the slimmer square frame design. The widest part of the speaker temple is 20% smaller, measuring only 9.7mm. The widest part of the tail is 28% smaller, now measuring just 8.3mm.

Under the hood, the Huawei Smart Glasses 2 boasts impressive audio capabilities. It features the industry’s first unidirectional dual-diaphragm surging unit, which has increased the speaker amplitude by 40% and media playback loudness by 30%. In terms of battery life, the Huawei Smart Glasses 2 can provide up to 11 hours of listening time or 9 hours of talk time on a single charge. The fast charging capabilities allow users to enjoy 3 hours of listening after just 10 minutes of charging. Users can get a full charge in just 50 minutes.

The smart glasses can also withstand the elements, with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. One of the standout features of the Huawei Smart Glasses 2 is its multi-device connectivity. This flexibility ensures seamless integration with a wide range of devices.

Huawei has recently expanded its FreeClip earphones lineup with a new “Warm Nebula” colour option, priced at 1,299 yuan ($180). These innovative earphones, known for their open-ear design and C-bridge technology, offer a unique listening experience that combines comfort and functionality. The FreeClip earphones appeal to those who want a stylish and comfortable accessory that also delivers sound quality and convenience.

The earphones feature a 10.8mm dual magnet driver, supporting a wide range of audio codecs including SBC, AAC, L2HC, and LC3. They offer a battery life of up to 36 hours, including the charging case, and have IP54 certification for dust and water resistance. The FreeClip also supports dual device connectivity and automatic playback pause and resume when the earbuds are removed or put back on.

The new “Warm Nebula” colour option adds to the existing range of colours, giving consumers more choices to match their personal style. The offline search feature at the floor level is a significant update, allowing users to locate their earphones or charging case even when not connected to a device. This feature, combined with the long search battery life of up to 9 months, makes the FreeClip earphones a practical choice for those who value ease of use.

Huawei all-in-one magnetic power bank released

Huawei has released a new all-in-one magnetic power bank that offers versatile charging capabilities. The power bank is just 11.26mm thick and weighs only 141g, making it lightweight and easy to carry. It supports three charging modes: 15W mobile wireless charging, 25W wired output charging, and 30W wireless base charging. This allows users to charge their smartphones, tablets, and other devices wirelessly or with a wired connection, providing flexibility and convenience.

The power bank comes in pure white colour and features a foldable stand on the back, adding to its practical design. However, Huawei did not disclose the capacity of this power bank during the press conference. Overall, Huawei’s new all-in-one magnetic power bank seems to be a compact and versatile charging solution for mobile devices.
