Realme to launch 7,500 mAh and 10,000 mAh battery phones soon

Realme GT 7 Pro - Realme 7500 mah phones

Realme recently launched the GT 7 and GT 7T at an event in Paris, France. Both phones come with huge 7,000 mAh batteries and support fast 120W charging. These features already place them among the top battery performers in the market. But Realme has bigger plans.

In an interview with Android Headlines, Realme said it wants to be known for battery innovation. The company hopes to build a reputation in battery tech similar to how Oppo and Vivo are known for their camera systems. As part of this goal, Realme confirmed that it will launch a smartphone with a 7,500 mAh battery by the end of 2025.

Realme did not name the upcoming device. However, many believe it could be the GT 8 Pro. This phone will arrive later this year. It will follow the GT 7 Pro, which had the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 120W charging, and a 6,500 mAh battery. In India, the battery capacity was slightly lower at 5,800 mAh.

In addition to the 7,500 mAh phone, Realme revealed another big plan. The company is working on a smartphone with a massive 10,000 mAh battery. Although Realme did not give a launch date, the idea alone shows how far it is willing to go in battery innovation.

Realme Aims for Big Battery Smartphones

Earlier this month, Realme showed off a prototype of the 10,000 mAh phone. Despite its large battery, the phone was only 8.5mm thick and weighed 215 grams. This is surprisingly slim and light for a phone with such a big battery.

The prototype used a battery with 10% silicon anode, which improved energy density to 887 Wh/L. Realme also used an ultra-small motherboard, only 23.4mm tall—the smallest in any Android phone to date. This helped make more space inside the phone for the huge battery.

Realme’s battery-first strategy could change how smartphones are made. Longer battery life is one of the most requested features by users. With these upcoming devices, Realme hopes to lead the market by solving a key problem for modern smartphone users: power that lasts all day—and more.
