OnePlus Nord CE5 Appears on Geekbench with Dimensity 8350

OnePlus is gearing up to introduce a new Nord series smartphone dubbed OnePlus Nord CE5. The new device was spotted in the Geekbench benchmark, which revealed a couple of details about its specifications. The device is expected to launch alongside its more powerful sibling, Nord 5 on July 8.

OnePlus Nord CE5 Specs Tipped on Geekbench

The OnePlus Nord CE5 was spotted on the Geekbench database with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC. The device is equipped with 8 GB of RAM which is a generous amount for a device in the mid-range segment. The device will run Android 15, which may sound outdated since Google has just unveiled Android 16. However, we have to say that Google was faster, and brands still have to adapt. Anyway, at least one update to Android 16 and OxygenOS 16 is a certain thing for this smartphone.

The specifications of the OnePlus Nord CE5 haven’t been disclosed by the brand. However, the leaks have been floating for quite some time. Back in April, an image leaked depicting the phone’s design. It will come with a 6.7-inch flat OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide snapper and a 16 MP selfie shooter.

The OnePlus Nord CE5 will come with 256 GB of Internal Storage. We don’t know if OnePlus will bring a micro SD card slot this time. The device will jump in the large battery bandwagon with a massive 7,100 mAh cell. It will support 80W fast-charging, which makes this a compelling mid-range smartphone for those who want endurance.

Nord 5 Will Boast the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

As far as the OnePlus Nord 5 is concerned, the device also appeared on Geekbench yesterday with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and 12 GB of RAM. This marks an important shift for the brand, that goes towards the flagship chipset with this CPU. According to the rumors, the OnePlus Nord 5 might be a rebadged OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition.
