New Telegram Update Brings Rewards and Productivity Features

Telegram encrypted Messaging app

It is in early July of 2025 that Telegram has issued its app to version 11.13.0 on both Android as well as iOS platforms. The latest update features several new additions that are designed to enhance user engagement and give creators new sources of revenue. Key features are a new checklist feature, automatic content recommendation for channels, and an in-app rewards system.

Telegram Issues Version 11.13.0 with New Productivity and Monetization Features

Checklists for Better Task Management

The checklist feature is only available to Premium users but enables individuals and groups to make their tasks more efficient. It allows users to create checklists within any chat, either an individual conversation, group, or even messages that are saved.

What makes this feature so powerful is that it is so flexible. Permissions can be used to control who can mark off tasks or add new tasks. This is ideal for group projects and individual productivity.

Suggest Posts to Channels

Another important aspect is the ability to suggest posts to Telegram channels. The followers are now able to write posts and submit them to the channels they subscribe to. The suggestions appear as messages to the channel administrator, who may choose to post them whenever they wish.

It gives voice to the followers and helps in finding new content ideas for channel managers. It also opens the door to more interactive and community posting of content.

Rewards with Telegram Stars

Telegram has also introduced a new system of motivating creators. The users can now include a reward—in either Telegram Stars or Toncoin—when suggesting a post. When the post is published, the reward is automatically transferred to the channel admin after 24 hours.

If the channel owner takes down the post before the 24-hour time frame expires, Telegram refunds the Stars. Users can buy Telegram Stars using @PremiumBot or Fragment. They have a 21-day refund period. Toncoin payments, however, are non refundable and are final.

All Within the App, All Private

Telegram points out the advantage that all these features are available within the app. No opening of external websites or other applications. No trading off of privacy in the process. That makes the security of Telegram as a platform for creators and users greater.

With update 11.13.0, Telegram goes further beyond the chat itself, offering the means for productivity, revenue, and greater involvement in the community.
