POCO F3 GT with Dimensity 1200 will reach India in Q3 2021

POCO F3 GT

Xiaomi and Realme are fighting to conquer the user’s preference in the various market segments. It’s not uncommon to see these companies teasing each other in various manners. In March, Realme unveiled the Realme GT series with the release of the Realme GT 5G and Realme GT Neo. In a bid to “provoke” its major competitor, Xiaomi will bring its “GT” smartphone that will be dubbed POCO F3 GT. The company posted a video on POCO India YouTube handle teasing “the next F” will be coming soon. According to the 28-second clip, the smartphone will come with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip just like the Realme GT Neo which will reach India soon with the Realme X7 Max moniker.

Unfortunately, the arrival date is not set. However, the low-resolution video says “Coming Q3”. It means anywhere between July 1 and September 30. Hopefully, India will have surpassed its worst phase of the pandemic by that date. Besides the new chipset, not much is known about the POCO F3 GT as a smartphone. However, we don’t need to make much effort since this device may come as a Redmi K40 Gaming rebranding. So it’s a gaming smartphone with capable cameras, an AMOLED screen, and hopefully a competitive price.
