Nubia Reveals the Design and Some Key Specs of Red Magic 9 Pro

The Red Magic 9 Pro is on its way. It’s about to drop on the coming November 23, which is just 8 days away. Ahead of the official launch, Nubia has showcased the design of the gaming smartphone.

As expected, the device will feature a flat back and front. And as Nubia revealed today, the Red Magic 9 Pro will be just 8.9 mm thin, which will make it one of the thinnest gaming smartphones on the market. In addition, Nubia has shared some of the key specs of its upcoming device on its Weibo account.

Positioned as the successor of the Red Magic 8 Pro, the 9 Pro comes with the latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. As it’s one of Nubia’s gaming handsets, it sports gaming-centric looks. And as you may have guessed, yes, it does come with RGB lights.

While the RGB lights do make the 9 Pro stand out, it doesn’t ruin the overall sleek nature of the device. Also, like the predecessors, the gaming smartphone features active cooling. It will keep the device cool when you game for an extended time.

Moving on, the 9 Pro comes with a 50 MP triple camera setup. However, Nubia hasn’t yet shared any details regarding the sensors in this setup. But it’s confirmed that the device will come with touch-sensitive shoulder triggers. These bring extra buttons, which gives an edge in competitive mobile games. Nubia shared a first-look video, which is embedded below for you to check out.

Moreover, the device will feature an under-display camera on the front. It’s the fifth Nubia gaming smartphone to have this feature. But again, we don’t yet know what the sensor will be.
