A lucky few might soon be able to have the ease of use that the 'multi-window' feature brings along.
First introduced by
Samsung TouchWiz, the feature has managed to catch the fancy of many.
Fast rising on the popularity chart, 3rd party firmware
OmniROM might soon have multi-window as a standard feature. With
smartphone screens rapidly increasing in size, it is only practical to make use of the extra real estate that's available. Although a select few have tried their hand at offering better usage of the entire
screen area (Paranoid Android's Halo being a prime example), none have been as widely accepted as Samsung's multi-window feature. However, what folks at
OmniROM are attempting is in a way distinct from Samsung's version as you will see in the video below.
With extensive testing and debugging going on, it perhaps won't be too long before
OmniROM users get a taste of a stable multi-window experience. With the
Find 5 being as dev-friendly as it is, it might be one of the
first to get this update, which means I would be able to give this a go!
